3M Court of Dreams
In celebration of Minneapolis hosting the NCAA Women's Final Four and the 50th anniversary celebration of Title IX, we created the Court of Dreams experience at the Mall of America - gathering dreams from young athletes and students from around Minnesota and highlighting how Title IX has helped the dreams of women become possible.
We designed the court, confetti installation, and experience and captured video and stills that 3M could use to both promote the experience and the products used to create the installation. While the floor signatures were gathered at events prior to installation, visitors at the mall could participate by writing their dreams on a Post-it and adding it to our mural wall.

“Most unique is the 3M Court of Dreams in the mall’s North Atrium. Through the efforts of 3M, which used print and decorative films, there is an entire basketball court covered with submitted writings from Minnesota residents about what their dreams are. Many came from youngsters, who wrote sports-related things such as wanting to see ‘more women hold leadership positions in pro sports’ and non-sports things such as ‘I want to be a marine biologist.’”
